Absolutely appalling experience and mistreatment of my wife.
We attended this medical centre during an extremely stressful medical situation and were left feeling dismissed, unsupported, and accused rather than cared for. As Australian citizens who pay tax and private health insurance, it is incredibly disappointing to receive little to no meaningful help when it is genuinely needed.
We dealt with Dr Gabriela Luna, who initially told us she would assist with completing documentation related to a medical emergency. We followed every step she requested, including seeing a psychologist and obtaining a report. Despite this, the support she promised was later completely disregarded. Not only were we charged twice for longer appointments under the impression that she would help us, but my wife was made to feel terrible during an already vulnerable time. The way the situation was handled made us feel as though we were being accused about it, all while my wife was experiencing another medical event this week.
We later found out that the doctors appear to rent space and work as independent contractors, which raises serious concerns about accountability and responsibility within the clinic. Dr Luna is always late to the appointments and also drops phone calls on the patients. Overall, this experience has left us with serious concerns about the standard of care, communication, and accountability within this clinic. The Australian medical system should be supporting people during medical emergencies, not making them feel ignored, judged, or accused.

I recently had an experience at this clinic that I feel is important to share.
I am currently dealing with a health condition that is significantly affecting my memory, focus, and mental clarity. It has been quite challenging, and this is the very reason I booked an appointment—to seek help and guidance.
Unfortunately, I mistakenly attended my appointment one day late due to this confusion. I completely understand that missed appointment policies exist, and I respected that by paying the fee. I also understand that the doctor was fully booked and unable to see me on the day I arrived. I wanted to reschedule but I felt so put down with the reception that I paid the fee and walked away to cry. People doesn't know how their attitude impacts others.
However, what was difficult was the way the situation was handled by reception. When I arrived, I felt dismissed and spoken to in a very cold and unsympathetic manner, without any attempt to understand what I was going through. The interaction left me feeling quite put down and, honestly, worse than I already felt walking in.
In a healthcare setting, especially, a small amount of compassion can make a big difference. Patients are often not at their best when they seek help, and kindness in communication matters just as much as the policies in place.
I hope this feedback can be taken constructively, as an opportunity to bring more empathy into patient interactions.

Nurse Katy is such a valuable asset to the clinic. We’ve been coming here for years for our flu shots, and she fantastic. You barely even feel the needle! She’s skilled, caring and always makes the experience quick and comfortable.

Very happy with my first visit. Dr Carter understood my problem and has referred me to a very well qualified person who has dealt with similar problems I am experiencing. Easy to talk to, listened and I felt asked relevant questions. Reception very pleasant and all ran smoothly. I will be returning. Easy parking and close to home.

Wonderful service in all areas. Called in the evening with a concern for our child, they found us appointment that night. The receptionist working this evening was so kind and chatted with my daughter and Dr. Brown (I believe his name was) was also wonderful, communicated really well and was terrific with my daughter.
I highly recommend this clinic, if we lived on the Gold Coast I would no doubt be coming here.
