We recently held our toddler's party at Hotel CBD and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The team was incredibly accommodating, easy to deal with, and so patient throughout the whole process.
A special mention to Chef Liz for the cake — it was exceptional. Homemade onsite! Makes life so much easier. So moist and absolutely perfect for a kids’ party, not overly sweet at all, just spot on.
The day itself was flawless from start to finish. We honestly can’t fault a thing and would highly recommend Hotel CBD for any celebration.
Thank you, David and the rest of the morning staff that Saturday morning. They were sooooo amazing! Made us so happy and relaxed.

Great food and the steak is always great. The large kids’ area is one of the reasons we started coming here.
However, I really don’t understand the decision to have a huge TV in the play area. Instead of playing and interacting, kids end up glued to the screen — the opposite of what many parents are hoping for when they take their kids out.
Please consider removing or turning off the TV in the play area. The space would be far better without it. Until then i will find somewhere else that my kids can play without having to worry about screen.

The cocktails are top-tier. Creative, well-balanced, and beautifully presented—clearly made by bartenders who know what they’re doing. Whether you’re into classics or something a bit more adventurous, there’s something on the menu that’ll hit the spot.
What really takes this place to the next level is the live music. It adds such a great vibe without being overwhelming, making the whole experience feel lively yet comfortable. It’s the kind of place where you plan to stay for one drink and end up staying all night.
Service is friendly, attentive, and professional, and the overall atmosphere just feels welcoming. Whether you’re on a date, catching up with friends, or just looking for a great bar to relax in, Bar CBCD delivers every time.

We held my daughters 4th birthday here on the weekend, the children had a wonderful time and everything was so easy for me as a parent, the lovely staff handled all decorations, party bags and entertaining, I only had to turn up! Was very reasonably priced as well and has a fantastic kids room, I would highly recommend.
We also took advantage of the in house pastry chef Liz to make the birthday cake, it was amazing honestly could not fault it, and for $60 was an absolute bargain!
Could not recommend the venue more highly for a function! I also held my 30th birthday hear a few years ago and had a great experience then too.

We went to the kids cupcake decorating event and it was really wonderful.
The chef was very kind and attentive so my daughter had a great time.
We were also surprised that the event was free.
Above all, the cupcakes were absolutely delicious.
