We have had our Christmas holiday at pelican cove, it was an amazing place to stay, the facility’s are great and we LOVED the heated pool!!
The new managers are extremely welcoming and the people we met were all friendly.
The location is perfect to get to all of the theme parks, Harbour Town and the lovely Broadwater is only a two minute walk.
We highly recommend holidaying here.

How beautiful is this place.
Pelican Cove is quiet and perfect for families.
The location is close to everything.
In the afternoon, watching the sunset by the canal feels calm and relaxing.

Wow what a dump please, please re-consider booking your holiday here. Here are the following issues we experienced at our stay.
- Floors oilier then a fish and chip shop floor.
- Beds squeakier then a squeaky wheel and harder then a piece of hardwood timber.
- Direr would only run for 5 mins at a time even it had, had enough and given up..
- Fan constantly making a noise so couldn't even have it on during the night when trying to sleep. Lucky I can't post the video of it because if you saw the video you would most definitely look elsewhere.
- Tried to re-mop floors but the mop had mold on it.
- Toilet flush button broken.
- Duster made me dry reach looking at it.
- Counters covered in dust.
Then when complained to management offered a measly 10% discount and then tried to complain for me leaving some rubbish and a couple of dirty dishes which I thought would be standard for an apartment to be cleaned by the actual apartment staff. Manager will try to explain himself on here but at the end of the day poor rooms, poor customer service and will never stay here again.

We stayed at Pelican Cove for 9 nights and overall found it to be in a fantastic location. It’s close to the beach, only a short drive to the theme parks, and just a short walk to a supermarket and mall, which was really handy. Unfortunately, the unit itself was the biggest letdown of our stay.
We stayed in Unit 1 on the first floor, which was great as it had several balconies to follow the sun throughout the day. However, there were a number of issues that made the stay less enjoyable:
• There wasn’t enough bedding for the colder nights.
• The heat pump set off the smoke alarm every night after about 10 minutes of use, despite following the settings. We later discovered it was due to a sensor connected to the alarm.
• The couch was very uncomfortable and there wasn’t enough seating for the six of us.
• Cleanliness was disappointing — we found old wrappers (including used condom wrappers), lots of dust, and the rooms clearly needed a deep clean.
• The vacuum provided was broken, so we couldn’t even tidy ourselves.
• Bathrooms were dated, with mould and old hair present.
• There weren’t enough cups or basic supplies for the number of guests.
On the positive side, the pool area was great. However, the spa wasn’t heated, making it unusable on cooler nights. We were told it doesn’t heat any hotter, which didn’t seem right.
We understand this is budget accommodation, but we did expect a higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. With some attention to detail, this place could be a lot better, as the location itself is ideal.

Under new management November 2025 this holiday venue offers 2 pools 2 spars a half court tennis court located in well maintained grounds with new BBQs a pontoon and boat ramp.
The new management in Nick and Anna have added personality and class to this facility enhancing what is a great family resort close to shopping and theme parks.
