This hotel is in a great location but the accommodation needs a big refresher. It was Christmas week & we were paying more than $750/night for sub-standard accommodation!
IE The air conditioning did not function properly in the third bedroom, the oven was dirty, one tv didn’t work, the lounge chair was old and saggy, the sheets were too small for the beds, there were cockroaches in the bathroom, the crockery was chipped, the benches were stained and chipped, the dining chairs were basic metal chairs, the washing machine lid was broken, most power points had no covers on them (safety issue), there was no colander & no kitchen tongs, electric powered blinds moved in the middle of the night without anyone touching the remote control, plus some cupboards had no handles. When I told the office about some of the problems they sent the handyman promptly and fixed the washing machine lid, but the tv could not be fixed and the power point covers were not able to be replaced. An air conditioning technician visited but said that the air conditioning to that bedroom had always been problematic.
The office did give us some free parking when I complained about the accommodation.

As above. We are long term holidayers at Ambience. The present management know how to operate a successful business. They ensure your stay is excellent from booking right through to completion. The property is extremely well maintained, is kept clean and tidy and any request for assistance is met with the required service levels.

My wife and I took our two young children (6/3) to stay and we had a wonderful time. We were met by friendly reception, where everything was explained well.
Our apartment was very nice and clean, with plenty of room. The kids enjoyed a very nice spa bath and all the facilities and appliances were clean and worked well.
The accommodation is in a very good spot with easy access to the beach, shops and walking areas.
It was a wonderful place to stay and we had a great time. We will be going back in future for sure.

Do not book this place. It is right next to a large construction project that runs all night. The noise is horrendous. If you’re here at the weekend there is a bar across the road blasting out music as well. It ruined our holiday. Oh, and there are cockroaches running around the apartment just to cheer you up! Hotel from hell!

Best location on Burleigh Beach! We are an elderly couple so location and ability to walk to shops and facilities was paramount. Apartments are a decent size with great views and reception staff great, nothing too much trouble. We are coming again in a few months! But be aware, the tram is being built nearby which may be a problem for some.
