Booked for 14 for 1pm. The renovations this place have completed make it easily able to cater heaps of large groups. I noticed several 1 star reviews which is always concerning. But our experience was unreal. Got the brisket and a schnitty with a couple of kids meals. It’s a slight inconvenience to have to order at 2 different locations and the smoker stuff comes out whenever it’s ready, so the meals can be staggered. But I imagine logistically it’s how it’s gotta be done. The schnitzel did have a microwaved feel about it but still was nice, I dunno if they just cook heaps to avoid waits and you just get whichever is ready or not? I notice a heap of people took issue with the staggered food but if you’re unhappy with that considering th type of place this is, you’d probably be a nightmare customer anywhere lol. Service was good everywhere. Drinks prices a bit wild, $20 for an alcoholic ginger beer and a soda water? No one should charge for soda water in my opinion. Need a much bigger kids park, and maybe a fence and gate to seperate it clearer from the roadway and car park. Overall I feel like you’ve gotta give credit to an establishment that probably does 1000 meals a day. Does this place have a few things it could easily improve? 100%. But would I return? 100%.

Great lunch had by us both on Wednesday.
We ordered the Wed special - 250g rump steak with gravy, salad & chips.
The steak was char grilled, tender, juicy and cooked to perfection (medium). The chips were crunchy, gravy flavourful & salad was simple but adequate.
The staff were friendly & polite.
We will definitely be back with our families soon to try the smoke master menu.

Went to the Wednesday night line dancing 🕺🏻
The place was packed, the beers and drinks were flowing. The kitchen was getting slammed all night. There was a $25 steak special🥩
I would recommend getting in early, say 5pm the beat the crowds.
It was a great night, definitely coming back again.
Huge venue, it would be awesome watching the NRL or any big sporting event.

A bit more difficult to leave a food review here as this Hotel is listed got accommodation, rbqhtrr than the BBQ, which is what's it's really all about.
The Smokehouse has one of the largest offset smokers ever seen outside the USA and they put out enough BBQ for hundreds of guests in a huge beer garden setting with a stage for live bands. Came here on a whim for Australia day and it was packed.
With some luck we got a table and ordered brisket and links. Flat was dry, point was terrific and the brisket needs to be cut thinner. Not 250 grams being a single slice? Otherwise pretty good for the huge volume smoked. Links were really smoky and tasty.
This place is a fantastic experience to bring friends and family for a special day out. My BBQ is better, but I enjoyed not doing it myself this time.

True country on the doorstep of suburbia. Food is smokin' - literally. Music is always pumping. Staff are chill and friendly. Best kids play area with room for them to safely run and go wild without them under everyone else's feet. Little areas to suit everyone. Footy and other sports on big screens inside. Linedancing outside. Quiet nooks for those who wish to be have a cosy chat. Even your doggo's are catered for. Noone gets left out. Love love love this place. There is no comparison on the Gold Coast.
