The staff are friendly and helpful, and the room and amenities are very good. The pool is e exceptional. Views straight out to the ocean. Perfectly located across from Pacific Fair shopping centre, Star Casino and Tram which takes you to Cavill Ave and all the way to Theme parks for 50 cents. Only 5 minute walk to the beach. Will definately stay there again.

I arrived room wasn't ready ok Then found out my room a one bedroom studio with ocean view had a leak was upgraded to a two bedroom apartment with a bit of a pool view. How was that a upgrade im single. Room was big airy I found chocolate melted on floor went to clean it up probably dropped easter eggs as it was easter Monday. Mmm no cleaning gear not even a dish cloth or dishwashing liquid. Washed hands in bathroom Handle fell off tap put that back on. Rules said to that it was my responsibility to dispose of rubbish in refuse Shute near lifts took some rubbish must be bagged not loose. Back to room no bags. Typical motel selection of single serve coffee and teas sugar etc but no milk. Turned on TV must be brand new hadn't been set up tried several times but couldn't get it to work. Had a few beers rules said recycling to be taken down to basement not in refuse Shute needed a bag nope got none. Slept night in main bed felt funny next morning checked sheets bottom sheet ended 30 mm before bottom of mattress, short sheeted lol all this at only over $1200. Pool was good gym typical resort type but you have to supply everything in your room and leave it clean or you'll lose your $200 bond they take off your card but dont even supple a dishcloth. Yes and rated ☆☆☆☆. I've stayed in better equipped pubs.

We enjoyed our stay however feedback from other customers i spoke to said their rooms were old and quite rundown. We were very concerned when we found our oven lined with foil. We think the cleaners are doing this clearly not aware of how dangerous it is. We stayed 7 nights and got a midweek clean, which was good. The pool was lovely, especially at the end of a busy day at the Theme parks. I would recommend this hotel but I would also recommend ringing in advance if you have any concerns before arriving.

Bel Air is located across the road from Broadbeach South lightrail station, making it easy to travel to Cavill st a couple of stops away.
Being a block and a bit away from the beach and Pacific Fair was convenient for our stay.
The pool and outdoor spa was a hit for the children.
Rooms were clean with adequate amenities and parking available.

A warning. BOOK ELSEWHERE I don’t often leave reviews but I feel the need to act as a PSA for future bookings. This hotel needs a serious face lift. You can tell it used to be awesome and chic- however, now every room has different mismatched furniture from the 80s-2000s and it is seriously run down. I had such high hopes from the positive reviews. This is not the worst hotel. It is safe & in a good location. However there is no housekeeping, a fee for additional towels, very cheap mattress, pretty gross motel style bathroom, and our bedroom was un air conditioned and too hot to sleep in. We had to sleep in the lounge room! The only bonus is the smart tv and the weirdly nice kitchen- which does not at all match the aesthetic of the rest of the room which is very hodgepodge and random. I do not believe this is staffs fault as it is clear they are understaffed and do not have the resources to improve things, this makes them come across as rude & neglectful. Bel air just does not compete with other hotels in the area for the same price point. I wish it did because the architecture is seriously cute. I hope they can maybe close some of the areas to focus on improving the experience. But what do I know. We are just disappointed.
