Lovely property with a very pleasant restaurant, and the pool service was excellent.
Most of all, the service at reception truly stood out. Even though the lobby is currently under renovation and not looking its best, I still felt incredibly welcomed by the staff. One team member in particular, Gabriel, deserves special mention such a lovely young man with a fantastic attitude. Him and his colleagues handled a long line of guests quickly and efficiently.
The little birthday treat waiting for us in the room was very special as well, so thank you for that thoughtful touch.
We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to see how the lobby looks once the renovations are complete!

The entire service from the overall staff is excellent! Especially male housekeeping ! The TV was quickly repaired, and luggage was handled very efficiently. The only drawback was that room housekeeping wasn't done well, and dishes washing seems to be improve. Birds frequently came in to restaurant to share meals with guests, which I found very unacceptable. Proper planning of doors and windows is necessary.

I booked this place for a relaxing weekend of tennis and sauna, but unfortunately, the sauna wasn't working. It would be helpful if this information was available online. I would have booked something else. I also found that there's only one tennis court, and I recommend you to book it in advance, because anybody can book the courts, not only quests. Very nice tennis court though.
House 1 is located next to the main pool (which has no hours) so late nights and early mornings are loud, so it's not ideal for a quiet relax time, they should put families with kids in house 1. The bathroom has a small bathtub, which isn't very comfortable.
The accommodation consists of standard motel rooms, the vibe is mix of caravan park and motel. Parking has a height restriction of 2.0 meters, guests can opt for free street parking nearby. It's interesting to note that the rates might reflect the basic amenities provided, especially considering it was available during a long holiday weekend( Australia Day).

2 pool areas. The smaller pool was quieter than the main pool area. Pool towels provided. Very family friendly. Staff were great. Food & beverages were good. No lifts in unit blocks which was fine for us but something to keep in mind. Easy parking.

We’ve stayed at Mercure Gold Coast Resort quite a few times now for our annual event, and it’s always a good experience. The staff are mostly all pretty friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
The resort has a gym, which is a nice addition, nice pool area, function area is nice and outdoor areas are great also.
The breakfast offers a good spread with plenty of options. While the main menu is still quite limited for dietary requirements, the team did a much better job with the event menu this time, which was appreciated.
Overall, a good experience once again. We look forward to returning next year.
