We had such a wonderful experience at 19th Ave Gentle Dental surgery with Dr.Louis Lo
From the start the lovely receptionist was patient, kind and understanding.
We originally went for a second opinion after being told by another dentist that 12 fillings were required. Dr Louis Lo carefully assessed and explained everything, and it turned out that only 6 fillings were actually needed. Not only was the treatment plan far more reasonable, but the cost was also thousands of dollars cheaper.
Dr Louis Lo is an incredibly honest, professional, and kind dentist — it's so refreshing to feel genuinely cared for rather than over-treated. The receptionists and all the staff were equally warm, helpful, and welcoming, which made the whole visit a pleasure.
We'll definitely be coming here from now on. Thank you so much to Dr. Louis Lo and the entire team for your honesty and care.

I just had my first appointment here following a recommendation from a friend. To say that I’m impressed is an understatement! All staff were so friendly and the dentist certainly lived up to his name - so gentle. The biggest factor for me was his honesty. I’ve been told a different story about what work I’ve needed done by every dentist I’ve been to and he was so honest about what I needed and what I didn’t. So refreshing! I won’t see anyone else now!

Very impressed and happy with my visit to gentle dental. Receptionist is professional and understanding. Dentist assistant very good. Dentist was the best I have seen for many years. Very understanding of the problem and the name gentle is appropriate. That he sure was. Would highly recommend.

Staff were friendly and helpful. This was my first time at this dentist and I was very impressed. Louis was methodical in his assessment of my dental situation and let me know exactly what was going on, what work would be required and how long it would be expected to take. I was very pleased with the service, professionalism and environment in general.

Just after Christmas I had an infection in my back tooth and called to make an appointment. I was very lucky and caught the receptionist whilst she had come in to check emails whilst they were closed for the holidays. She talked me through what could possibly be the cause and even pulled up my dental records to help. She was very helpful and it was very much appreciated. 😁
