Had to move rooms x3. 1st room - wet carpets. Stinks. 2nd room - booked. 3rd room - smelt of old wet cat/dog. Spa bath is for tiny humans - couldnt extend legs. Towel rail broken. Stains on floors, curtains, walls. Requested refund & to cancel - told we need to organise via Bookings .com
So tired (late check in) stayed. No batteries in remotes for aircon, tv - had to keep swapping batteries back & forth from old controller. Communicated to reception, afterhours - our difficulties & the gross false advertising of rooms, equipment... paid an upgrade for higher floor with view of ocean or hinterland - we got neither - we got hotel walls, homeless fighting & the casino. In initial advert when booking - stated parking available - Reception managers only response - "booking states no parking - check your booking" DID NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE OUR COMPLAINTS. MOST DEFINATELY DUPED!!! RIPPED OFF. Worst EXPERIENCE. Never to Return.
Basic blank reaponse to review. Hotel has made no contact. No replies to complaints. No rectification to refund. NO Acknowledgement at all.

“Old and desperately needs improvement”
Sadly, this is a place I would not recommend. The onsite car park is very small for the number of rooms the resort holds, so you have less than 20% chance of getting a parking spot. On Sunday, the staff go home after 3pm, so if you happen to run out of toilet paper, there is no one onsite to replenish it for you. If you call the reception line, you get an offiste person answering the call, but they won't come onsite. The aircon in the room is too small and not powerful enough to cool the whole room. The room was not cleaned to other hotel standards, as on this particular occasion, there were still hairs found in the bathroom when entering the bathroom for the first time. On a positive side, the location is convenient if you want to attend the Star Casino across the road, or the Broadbeach dining precinct, which is about a 10 minute walk away. The shower water pressure is good, the bed is comfy and the balcony on the high floors offer an amazing view.

Very accommodating! The front desk lady was so helpful. Budget accommodation. Room was average, dated and needs new carpet. Shower probably could do with some hand rails as it was very unsafe to get in and out of.
Location was great! Close to the casino and a short walk to the beach!!

There were ants throughout the apartment. Very dusty carpet. The sliding doors were coming off. One of the rudest receptionists we have encountered who clearly didn’t like her job.
The location was great. But the apartment needs fixing and good cleanup.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well located. The room was spacious and well equipped, making the stay very relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great service throughout our stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would happily stay here again.
