Just home from three nights in a 3 bedroom ocean view apartment with my daughters. Our apartment was beautiful with everything we needed. Our views were incredible and we watched sunrises and whales splashing as they swam past. We were on level 10 so had great views up and down the coast. We were in easy walking distance to cafes and restaurants. I recommend the walk along the path to Miami Beach and over through the cliff top national park in the opposite direction.

What an outstanding experience at Burleigh Esplanade Apartments. The perfect location, beautiful light and spacious apartments with a perfect and unobstructed view of the ocean. Management were wonderful to deal with, who helped us rearrange travel dates due to sickness to ensure we could have an incredible holiday. Thank you so much Libby and team, we can't wait to come back.

Go elsewhere! Good location but room maintenance and service were unacceptable. I have never before written a bad review but feel I need to after this stay. We recently stayed in a superior 2 bedroom apartment, Apartment 41. Staying here was a frustrating and disappointing experience that didn't live up to the online description. The apartment website states room features that were not in our apartment (nor in our daughter's 3 bedroom superior apartment). If you're looking for a stress-free holiday I'd suggest looking elsewhere. While the location is good, the lack of maintenance made it impossible to fully enjoy our holiday.
** BROKEN AMENITIES:-
1. Ensuite toilet seat and lid broken and seat slid off every time from the first time we used it. We reported this to manager and were told that it would be fixed however it was not fixed for our entire stay. 2. Main bathroom toilet seat cracked. 3. Plug in bath faulty. Bath would not hold water. 4. Lounge and dining ceiling lights flickered for first 3 days of our stay/ did not work at all for last 3 days. These were the only lights in these areas. 5. Aircon at one end of lounge area did not work at all.
** FALSE ADVERTISING ON WEBSITE REGARDING WHAT IS IN APARTMENTS:- Apartment website states apartment has Foxtel and a 2nd TV in main bedroom. We had neither. Discussed this with manager who stated some apartment owners have decided not to have these amenities in their apartments. We were not told this when booking our apartment. Our daughter's apartment also had no 2nd TV in main bedroom despite stating that it did on website. Our Wi-Fi was not connected for the first 24 hours of our stay and once it was restored (only by connecting through another apartment's Wi-Fi) it was not reliable. Website also states apartments have been renovated. Ours could not have been recently renovated as there was obviously long-standing damage to kitchen bench top, fridge door handle was broken, under bench bin was broken and rusty.

My favourite place to stay in Burleigh. Reason why;
-The apartments are much more spacious than other apartment rentals in Burleigh.
- It’s directly opposite the beach and in front of life saver swimming flags section, therefore reduces the walk to safe swimming location. It makes a big difference.
- The pool is the largest and best located along the esplanade complexes so always has sun and shade on offer all day.
- The apartments are all oriented parallel to the beach, so widest beach frontage and good sized balconies
- only 5/10 min walk to James st
- best location of all apartments I think. It’s quieter than those apartments right on James st or near bars, but centrally located and very close to walk there. Best of both worlds. Accessibility but not the noise.
- we love the sauna’s- 2 available.
- Our young adult’s love the pool table.
- Libby, the manager, is amazing to deal with. She is so helpful, organised and always super friendly. Her recommendations for restaurants are bars have become my favourites.
- amazing BBQ area with lots of comfy seating near the pool. We have used when we’ve stayed for longer visits and don’t always want to eat out.
- Heaps of car parking, which is handy.
It’s become our ‘home away from home’.
We travel to Burleigh from Melb every 2 months and have stayed at almost all accomodation available in the area. We now only stay at Burleigh Esplanade.

Our family spent a week here recently and what a great place to relax. At the moment there is a lot of construction activity around Burleigh Heads and Burleigh Esplanade is far enough away so as not to be a hindrance but a short walk and you are in the action. Great, well maintained apartment overseen by Libby Holcomb (a fabulous manager) and her efficient crew. Tennis court, swimming pool, games room, spa and sauna and right across from the beach. Recommend this resort highly.
