A beautiful and peaceful retreat — perfectly located just a short drive from the lively Gold Coast, yet nestled in serene, green surroundings. The facilities are good, the staff warm and welcoming, and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped — everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is not new resort, but you will get everything you need for a holiday.
If you're not keen on travelling far, there's a nice restaurant by the dam just a minute's drive away, offering breakfast and lunch with stunning views. For the evenings, a nearby pub provides the perfect spot to unwind. Resort restaurant is open only on Wed for dinner, but it has vending machines for drinks etc.
Resort has facilities like boating, games, kids room, pool etc. And also offer tickets to various Gold coast theme parks.
Resort has potential to introduce waste segregation near room and can request guests to cooperate.
All in all, a fantastic experience — would definitely love to return!

We stayed a week, it was fabulous. The unit impeccable, the kitchen appliances working perfectly, a variety of outdoor activities for the kids to enjoy, quiet. 20min drive to amusement parks, 30min drive to Surfers Paradise. Highly recommended for families.

What a beautiful spot!! To wake up looking out over the lake was so relaxing. No traffic noise was an extra bonus!
The pool is refreshing, the spas, yes there's 2, are relaxing, the games room is lots of fun, the mini golf is challenging and the peddle boats and kayaks are a great way to exercise.
Then there's the animals... wallabies, kangaroos, ducks, swans, parrots, and even turtles that swim to you for a feed!!!
The apartments are soundproof and a great size, very clean and well-appointed. I love that you get your own private balcony with an outdoor setting to relax on.
If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Surfers, yet, close enough for day trips. This is the place to stay.

2 adults, 3 kids in a 2 bed apartment. Lovely interior recently renovated kitchens and bathrooms. The grounds are quite expansive but safe for the kids to roam, feed the turtles, play golf, ride bikes, only 20 mins from movie world, wet n wild. Away from it all but close to it all

I couldn’t give 5 stars because the accommodation is old however it’s clean and practical. The facilities are great which include a bar-b-cue area, a pool which has a toddler playing area, a ‘club house’ which has a reading corner for some quiet time.
Sit on the back patio overlooking the lake is beautiful and calming. If you want to relax in an uncomplicated and simplistic area this is the go to! Is it suitable for kids - definitely a yes but you will have to watch the kids with the large body of water
