Having tried a vast variety of Indian restaurants in many Australian cities, this one takes the cake! A perfect blend of spices, texture and presentation creates an amazing gastronomic journey. Ordered 3 different dishes, and each one of them more flavourful than the others. The chicken Handi was cooked to perfection. Usually, I find Indian restaurants using similar, if not same, curries for their dishes, making them taste similar. But not here.
The service was terrific. Food served quick, portion size was ample and prices are fair.
Surinder is doing a fantastic job running this place and I only expect to see his business grow over time.
If you're visiting Gold Coast/Brisbane, and have a palate for Indian cuisine, this place is your Mecca!

I recently had lunch at Ginger Indian Gourmet and ordered garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, malai kofta, and chilli paneer. Most of the food was super delicious, especially the chicken tikka masala and chilli paneer, and the garlic naan was fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere is great for dining in with family and friends. The only downside was the malai kofta, which wasn’t as good as the rest of the dishes. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and I would still recommend the place.

We ordered takeaway from Ginger Indian Gourmet and were genuinely impressed! The food was perfectly packed, hot on arrival and beautifully fragrant the moment we opened the containers. It’s so nice to see that even with takeaway, they don’t compromise on presentation or flavour.
Q: How was the food quality?
Absolutely amazing, each dish was rich, flavourful, and layered with authentic Indian spices. The butter chicken was creamy with just the right amount of heat, the garlic naan stayed soft and fresh, and the biryani was wonderfully aromatic and portioned generously.
Q: How was the service and communication?
Service was seamless. Ordering was easy, and staff were polite and efficient when we arrived for pickup. Everything was ready on time, neatly labelled and still piping hot when we got home, which is rare for takeaway!
Q: Would you recommend it?
Definitely! Whether dining in or taking away, Ginger Indian Gourmet is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. Their dishes are consistently high-quality, the ingredients taste fresh and you can tell the chefs take pride in every detail.
If you’re craving authentic Indian flavours on the Gold Coast, this place is a must-try. Great portions, excellent spice balance, and genuine hospitality make it a standout.

I had a fantastic experience at Ginger Indian Gourmet! 🌟 The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic Indian flavors and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted fresh and perfectly spiced. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we walked in.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. If you’re looking for quality Indian food with great service, I highly recommend Ginger Indian Gourmet. I’ll definitely be coming back again! 😊
