Ocean Pacific Resort is in a great location for a short 5 minute walk to Pacific Fair, Draculas, and the beach. Our apartment was very spacious with all the required amenities. We were on level 17 with a sea view. The construction below did not bother us at all. Some of the decor was a bit tired and could use some sprucing up, but overall it was very comfortable and value for money.

Ocean Pacific Resort is in a great location for a short 5 minute walk to Pacific Fair and Oasis shopping precinct which has Woolworths and a great variety of restaurants. We were on level 13 with a sea view and easy walk to the beach. The construction below did not bother us , most of the time , but guests need to be aware that construction does commence at 6am. Some of the decor was dated and inferior quality, however I do believe that an upgrade is scheduled. What is in their control, is the cleaning as well as the quality of towels etc , this needs closer monitoring , but overall it was comfortable stay and represented value for money considering it was school holidays.

The facilities are great. The location is very central to shopping, the beach and many dining places. Our ocean view apartment had a beautiful vista. BUT… the construction site directly next door was a bit of a downer - noisy workers started at 6:30am every weekday. No sleeping in on this holiday.

Room 1801.Room on the 18th floor was fabulous. Great view, room was clean, air cond worked very well. Beds very comfortable. The old leather lounge had seen better days. The jack hammering from the development next door was annoying, but out of their control. I would recommend staying, but if you have a car, there is an issue. In 40 years of coming to the gold coast, every place we have ever stayed has a room number and an allocated parking space. But not here. You can park in any space except for ones marked residents. We were told (as they were completely full one night) that if none were available you would have to park in the street. Well, that's not what I paid for.
Each time we went out, we had to search and hope a spot was there. For that reason, we will never stay there again, which is disappointing because it was a great place.

The location is excellent, which is definitely a highlight. However, there was a strong, unpleasant smell in the level 13 lobby that seemed to linger due to a lack of fresh air in the hallway. Unsure if it was the defuser sitting on the soap dispenser on the wall or not but it definitely didn’t make the place smell good.
The apartment itself was spacious, but quite outdated and showing signs of wear and tear. The TV was also old and didn’t offer any smart features like Netflix, which you would generally expect nowadays.
It would also be helpful if there were more transparency around which apartments are privately owned. When booking through Booking.com, you generally expect a hotel-style experience, but this felt more like staying in an Airbnb. There were expectations around cleaning and leaving the apartment in a certain condition, which isn’t something you typically anticipate when booking this type of accommodation.
With some maintenance and attention to detail, the property could really be brought back to life, as it clearly has great potential. At the moment, though, it feels more like a motel than a resort.
