Robina Town Medical Centre is an outstanding and exceptionally well-run GP practice. It is a large clinic with many doctors, yet what impresses us most is the genuinely personalised care. From the reception team to the nurses and doctors, we are consistently made to feel as though we are the only patients in the clinic (despite the large team), receiving complete attention, respect, and outstanding medical expertise. The practice is modern, very well equipped, and comfortable, giving a calm and reassuring environment from the moment you walk in.
My wife and I are both under the care of Dr Luke Ward, and we feel truly fortunate to have him as our doctor. We have never met a doctor like him. His clinical knowledge, careful assessment, and sound judgement inspire complete confidence. He listens attentively, explains everything clearly, and always takes the time to ensure we understand our options. He doesn’t just take what I say at face value, but rather zooms out and sees things from multiple angles, figuring things out in a way I would have never thought of, but clearly based on many years of his wisdom.
What truly sets him apart is his calm, thoughtful, and compassionate manner. We have been through times of uncertainty and fear, but his reassurance and steady guidance have made all the difference.
We are deeply grateful to Dr Ward and the entire team for their professionalism, dedication, and genuine care. They are one of a kind, and we would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking first-class medical care on the Gold Coast.

So fortunate to have found a place of healing known as Robina Town Medical Centre!
It is a medical practice that excels in all departments. I know for my medical journey
has placed me in the care of doctors and nurses who demonstrate day to day, the highest standards. It’s been over a decade of quality service that has steered me past 91
and given me confidence to move on to 92
and beyond!
For that, thank you and thank you also to the reception ladies, the front line that is so important.
Today, WS would say about the staff of RTMC :
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers and sisters!

By far the best experience for kids immunisations, extremely friendly and made it an incredible experience. Our daughter didn’t even realise the needle went in, they distracted her so well and entertained throughout. Too good
Thanks Dr Mackenzie and nurses 🙌

Had a bad experience with Dr Erica Hines. She treated me with disrespect and not everyone has $1000’s of dollars to go to get private help for something Erica could have recommended for free. I am an unemployed single mother and my daughter just turned 18, she has never attended appointments alone and I accompanied her. Erica treated me as though I was a tyrant for requesting tests and suggested to go through the private path whereby 1 session is $660 and rushed us out. If you like to be treated poorly and literally become poor, see Dr Hines! I hope Dr Hines learns to understand that not everyone is the same and not all families have the resources nor the same background or culture.

Tried to book in to see my regular doctor, Dr Alison Hartwell and was told I couldn't book online. I have been a patient of Dr Hartwell's for 8 years and all I need is a simple script. But because she has moved to this centre since my last visit, I can' make a simple booking. Not even by phone. I am working next week and I will be going interstate for 2 weeks, so I need this script before I go.
