We had such a great stay here. Our blended family were put in a family suite with an upstairs bedroom, bathroom and balcony and a further 2 bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. It made for such a comfortable trip given we had 3 toddlers in tow. The only hiccup I would want people to know is there are no elevators so lugging kids and luggage was a little difficult but if thats my only hiccup, its a small thing. We will absolutely be back!

We hired 4 units recently as we were attending a wedding at Currumbin Sanctuary. We were able to book well in advance and make a couple of changes at the last minute. The location is amazing and the apartments were very clean and well equipped. The beach access was so good as we had young children. They loved the pool and we could all eat together at the outside tables. We'd love to come back.

We have just stayed 3 nights in the 3 bedroom beachfront unit and had great trip.
We’ve stayed at Sanctuary Beach Resort several times over the years and have always had a positive experience. The units are well furnished, comfortable, and offer great value, presenting very well for 3-star accommodation.

I would not recommend booking with this company. Our experience was handled very poorly and with no regard for customer safety or basic courtesy.
My daughter, a single mum, booked accommodation on 12 February 2026 as a surprise for my birthday. On the day of travel, we received official alerts from the Bureau of Meteorology and government authorities advising people not to leave their homes due to severe flood warnings.
We contacted the company immediately, explained the situation, and provided evidence of the government warnings. We simply asked to change the dates. They refused. We then asked about a partial refund or any form of compensation, and again they refused.
The manager was dismissive, unhelpful, and showed no willingness to work with us despite the clear safety risks and government advice not to travel.
Their lack of flexibility and customer care was extremely disappointing. I have since taken the matter to the Ombudsman, who has advised that I have a strong case with substantial evidence.
Based on this experience, I strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

Great location right off the beach and boardwalk. The surf club and patrolled swimming beach is only a couple of hundred metres walk...an easy stroll. David and Peter were attentive and friendly with a cheerful smile and hello whenever they passed by. The ground floor unit was spotless and had everything we required. Swimming pool and surrounding area was well kept and clean. Could not fault.
